The problem
Why most patios sound bad
It is almost never the speakers. It is where they are, how many there are, and whether they were built for this climate in the first place.
One speaker, one direction
A single soundbar or a pair of speakers bolted to the back wall throws sound at the pool and nowhere else. Stand ten feet left and it disappears.
Indoor gear, outdoor job
Florida humidity, UV and salt air destroy speakers that were never rated for it. They survive one season, sound dull by the second, and fail by the third.
Cranked to cover the gap
When coverage is poor, the fix is usually volume — which means it is deafening by the grill and still thin at the far end. And your neighbours hear all of it.

Proper outdoor audio uses several smaller speakers placed for coverage rather than two large ones placed for convenience. The music sounds the same in the water as it does at the grill, and it never has to be loud to get there.

An indoor television on a covered patio is a short-term decision — humidity gets into it, glare makes it unwatchable by day, and the sound disappears the moment anyone turns on the pool pump.
We mount displays properly for outdoor and covered spaces, run the wiring cleanly, and pair them with audio that can actually be heard over ambient noise. Where glare is the problem, motorised roller shades often solve more than a brighter screen does.

We place speakers on paper for even coverage rather than convenience, then you hear the gear properly set up in our showroom before you buy it.

Wire routed and buried properly, speakers sited precisely, and everything sealed for weather. Nothing left for you to tidy up.

We balance the zones so outside does not overpower inside, walk you through the controls, and we are still here when you have a question next year.

Outside is just another zone
Outdoor audio works best when it is not a separate system with its own remote and its own bluetooth pairing. It should be a zone on the same system as the kitchen and the living room — same app, same sources, same volume control.
If you already have whole-home audio, adding the patio is usually straightforward. If you are starting from scratch, it is worth planning both at once.

Questions
Before you start
Will the neighbours hear it?
Not if it is designed properly. Even coverage from several smaller speakers means the system never needs to be loud to be heard, which is the single biggest cause of complaints. We also zone the volume so the far end of the property is not being driven to reach the near end.
Can speakers really be buried or hidden?
Yes. Landscape speakers sit low in planting beds and disappear behind foliage within a season, and subwoofers can be buried entirely with only a small vent visible. Most clients are surprised how little there is to see.
Will it survive Florida weather?
Weather-rated outdoor speakers are built for sun, humidity, salt air and rain, with sealed enclosures and corrosion-resistant hardware. Indoor speakers moved outside will not last, which is the most common failure we get called out to replace.
Can you add outdoor audio to a system I already have?
Usually, yes. If you have whole-home audio already, the patio often becomes another zone on the same system. We will tell you honestly whether your existing equipment can carry it or whether it needs an addition.
What about a house that is already built?
Most of our outdoor work is retrofit. Wire can be run through soffits, under pavers and through beds without tearing anything up. It takes more planning than a new build but the result is the same.
Can I control it from my phone?
Yes. Outdoor zones sit alongside the rest of the house in the same app, keypad or voice control, so there is no separate remote or bluetooth pairing to think about.
Do you handle outdoor TVs as well?
Yes — mounting, wiring and pairing them with audio that can be heard over a pool pump. For covered lanais we will also talk to you about glare, because a shade often solves more than a brighter screen.
How much does it cost?
It depends entirely on the size of the space and how much you want hidden. A single well-placed pair on a small patio is a very different project from a pool deck with landscape speakers and buried subs. Consultation and quote are free.
